I've got an option to get my hands on either watch for about the same price. The difference seem minimal...Any opinions?

I have the Core in black on black. Very happy with it. Settings are easy to navigate. It has Atimeter/Baro and Compass.

They seem very similar and unfortunately the website and user manuals do not follow the same format so the minor details are hard to compare...

Core has H2O Depth Meter, X-Lander does not. X-Lander also has a rotating bezel. There are also differences in the way they look. Full chart:

Are the X-Lander military being issued, or are they an approved purchase item? Neither?

Went with the X-Lander. I think it looks better and it was $30 cheaper. Thanks for the input.

I have an Xlander Commander. The all tactical becomes a pain in the but for those of us that are not always observing noise and light discipline. I also broke three band in three years.

That's where I got my Core, for $200:cool: Just remember that you only get two items for the life of the program.
