I should have thought of this sooner, but I didn't... Sorry.

I have been PM'd by a few people who wanted to join my Sat (22 Oct) group running at Winter Green. And I am guessing a few more may have looked into signing up. However, that day is full and no further registrations are being accepted. Unfortunately, I deleted the messages and can't remember who inquired.

So, if you are interested in running on Sun (23 Oct) you may want to post it here and see if you can get a handful of SOCNETers to get together. There is still time to form a group- even a small one- to run on Sunday. But do it quickly, as Sunday is expected to sell out as well.

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT BLACKJACK IS ONE OF THE HARDEST MEN I HAVE EVER MET! tawS7 and I were sluffing it up some of the slopes and wondering how in the heck we got ourselves into it and sure enough Blackjack was still plugging away. ABSOLUTE STUD! It was a privilege to have run with him.

Brother, you obviously have me confused with someone else, Hugh Jackman or George Clooney perhaps? :). Thank you for the kind words anyway. Man I’ll tell you, I hit the water at the Monkey Bars, and felt the legs cramp. Then it was that nice Ice bath right before the Cargo Net. It was at that point that any idea of a good time by my standard was not in the future. When I ran into you guys at the under the water/logs event and those cramps the goal was just to finish. Then of course, I saw that fookin climb, geez. Every step hurt.

I have much respect for those warriors humping full kit up and down those mountains in A’stan. In our case, we weren’t getting shot at, no IED’s to deal with and truth be told, we could quit anytime we wanted. It was a great day and a good cause. I wish I could say can’t wait until next year but one day at a time lol I sent you an email on Sunday from Gmail account, don’t know if you received it or thought it was Spam. It was great meeting you and TawS, class acts and gracious hosts. Thank You.
