bmf,
when doing the pushup portion of the test, are you able to shake you hands out? only one at a time of course.
thanks

That is actually a pretty tough question. The guidelines are kind of vague in that matter so it's really up to the individual administering the test. I will say that you better be able to do at least 60 without needing a shake out. Back when I screened it was over when the hands left the deck but I have seen guys let it slide as long as proper form was followed for each rep.

This is a good question to ask your screener BEFORE the test starts. I guess for training purposes do as many as you possibly can- then shake out the lactic and knock out a few more.
Whn do you plan on screening? I can possibly give you some hook-ups in the Kings Bay area.

Nope. For the qualifer, rest position is in the lean rest and thats it. If you have to shake your wrists out, you need to beat off more switchibg hands every 20, or you are gay and Joe wants a one on one with ya. Toddles:D

well then its the lean and rest. comments are pretty cute there DFC.(nope not gay here. just happy) but i like to switch hands every 10-15 strokes. don't want to wear them out too fast. but seriously. thanks for the reply. the shaking out the wrist question came up in a converstation. i have taken the test before. and as you can tell didn't pass. but going to this time. plan on taking it this spring if all goes as planned. don't live in georgia anymore. just use it as a home of record. am in rota now. just havent had time to call the EOD det here. was faster this way.
