Greetings and salutations.

I'm a soon to be joining the Reserves dude, and I have a question.
And forgive me if I get the terms wrong.

My understanding is that QL3 is held during the summer, usually around July or so...

But as an university student, I have also May and June free.

So, is there a way that I can take QL3 in May/June and some additional course in July/Aug?

If yes, who do I have to pester? :D

Slow down there speedy gonzales! One thing in the CF that you must have is patience (more so than shaolin munks ).

If your unit is really highspeed they will have you on a precourse before you go away which fill the gap a bit. Also you could use that time to get into shape -cause lord knows the course is a doozy.

Oh, you could also spend the time learning how to hook up with fat chicks.

And lastly what the hell is "The Reserves Dude"?

Reminds me of what the doctor told me the other day. He was in 12 field med and had some crazy rambo nut come in to apply. FULL NUTCASE like red bandana on, long curly mullet , cammo pants and a black undershirt. Apparently was talking about how he wanted to sleep with a live grenade and just crazy s,hite like that. So my doc contacts his shrink (cause obviously this guy has a shrink) and she said it would be good for him to live out his dream and shoot real guns , etc. He then tells me he couldnt tell who was more nuts this rambo guy or his shrink. Needless to say he didnt get in. But hilarious none the less.

Nah, you get those 2 months off, sorry, depending on when your unit stands down but some sort of pre-course will likely be run at your unit on their regular training nights.

However, I hear the Imperial Space Marines are recruiting and have a QL2000 ready to roll for May.
