Hey, I know Afghanistan doesn't have many canals, river, tributaries and all, but what exactly are the boat guys role in Operation Enduring Freedom? I mean not al our operations are taking place inside Afghanistan, so I'm curious if they're being forward deployed or used in this situation.

The roles being played by SOCOM units in the ongoing operations are considered OPSEC and nobody is going to answer your question. Please don't ask questions in the future that could violate OPSEC. Thanks.
