I read a while ago "somewhere" (could not locate) on these forums that the USMC will be going to just green t-shirts and will stop issuing the "browns".
Does anyone know if the USA or the USAF will be getting rid of the "browns" as well?
I've noticed that the Air Force has been issuing black t-shirts for quite sometime.
Thanks

General Jones doesn't like the brown T-shirts, so in his "five things to change today" statement green T are now again the standard in the Corps. Green is only a standard for Marines and those sailors part of the FMF. The army still uses the brown and from the AF near buy it appears almost everyone wears black.

The AF actually issues brown, just most of us wear black.

AF = brown until you get your ass out of basic and into tech school where you actually have a chance to SPEND some of your hard earned(?) money, and. . . everyone else wears black after Basic too. . . so dont be "that guy" who still wears your issue brownies. . .

There are certain Air Foce organizations that insist you wear brown so you will look like the Army. No fooling.
