Can anyone tell me when (at least month and year)the SEAL platoon increased from 14 personnel to 16 personnel?
What was the reason? Did most mission profiles call for 16 men or were specific specialties added to the platoon?
I've been writing a general basic paper on the organization of US Special Operations. Most of the material is from my own library or from my own experience. When I find a blank I can't fill in I start polling my sources.
