What was the name of the current The 1st Battalion Training Group between 1975 to 1985? Was Morris and Sutherland the training directors during what year periods? Anyone remembered how many officers became SF annually between 1975 to 1985?
Thanks a lot.

Nope. Major Rowe started the Anti-Terrorism Training Branch (ATTB) in 1981 under the Organization and Development Department, Directorate of Special Forces Schools, USAIMA. SF Ops and Intel Course (SFO&I) and the SF Officer's Course (SFOC) were the other two branches under O&D.

I was the Operations Sergeant for the SFOC and seconded to ATTB to teach terrorism subjects. Butch Gallagher was the Ops Sergeant for ATTB. ATTB initially had two missions: Run a multi-level SERE program (A, B, C) and run classes on terrorism awarenes and anti-terrorist measures.

BTW, back in the 70s-80s, 1st Special Warfare Tng Bn had an HHC for cadre, Company A for SF Phase Students, Company B for Psyop/Civil Affairs, Company C for advanced SF Courses, and Company D for the foreign students.
