Does anyone have a POC such as an email, website, or publisher for Mr. Wiseman?

I am using the section on rucking from his book 'SAS Conditioning' for SFAS prep and had questions in regards to his program.

Best Regards,

Chris

Where did you see this book?

I looked at both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk (UK version) but I did not see a specific book on SAS Conditioning by Wiseman. I did see a personal trainer book though. Is that it?

Thanks.

You're at Bragg right? Go to Barnes and Noble, they have that book in the military section in hard cover only.

Thanks. I'll check it out tomarrow.

It is any better/worse than the SAS fitness books by Barry Davies or Adrian Weale that you know of?

Thanks again

Don't know, I haven't read those books yet. I glanced at the book by Wiseman like about two months ago at Barnes and Noble. I say save your money or wait until it comes out in paperback.

How would these do as prep for RIP, etc.? I was going to use Stew Smith's 12 weeks to BUD/S and replace the swimming with rucking, but I'd also like to work in lifting (no real benefit, I know, but I love to lift), so it wouldn't work all that well. As such, I'm looking for something that would.

I haven't read that book either. As long as you can run, ruck, have upper body strength, land nav and be the gray man you will be ok. A good program is the 5 week SFAS prep plan that you can download i think off of the go army website. Don't run when you ruck also try fartlek and interval running on different types of ground (sand, pavement, trails, hills, etc). Check out the pre-ranger website, RTB site, and SWTG site for more info.

I've been through a few gut check schools and what I mentioned above has always worked for me. Good luck

If you ever go to Hereford, go the the tourist information center. There you can buy some of Lofty's books. And if you are lucky you might meet the guy who gets all the SAS stuff you can buy there from the regiment (he's ex SAS). Ask him if he knows any way you can get in contact with Lofty. And if you're even more lucky, he'll help you! ;)
