Well as the months have slowly went by, i now have exactly 2 months till I leave for Great Lakes. I enlisted under the SWCC Challenge and I am getting overly anxious and nervous, still have a few questions, What does a member of the SBU do each day? is one of my biggest questions, to be honest I really didn't know much at all about SWCC/SBU's when I was at meps, I went in planning on going into intel or somthing of the like, of course there were no openings. but all the information I have found out about it has really made me glad I didn't push for some kind of intel rating, I know this is somthing i can do, and somthing that I will feel good about, I know its going to be the hardest thing I've ever done and strangely enough I welcome that, I'm scared out of my wits, but it's a good scared. Anyone know of where I could end up being stationed at? thats a big question too, and during my time in coronado do we train all 7 days a week? if anyone can give me some info it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your time

As far as training you'll train 5 days a week but weekends can be used and you will usally use your weekends preping gear and recovering. any more ?s feel free to ask as far as day to day stuff thats opsec and can't really be discussed so get through SWCC and find out.

cool, thanks for the info, definatly not wanting to violate opsec, unfortunatly due to my fiacee having a stroke on friday im probably not going to be leaving as soon as i had hoped im speaking with my recruiter to see if i cant get my enlistment in DEP extended or what i can do to ensure that i have some more time here while she recovers. but i still fully plan on going through with what i have decided to do. take care and i hope to see Coronado soon
