Please send this update out on the net. The SF
documentary is in the final stages of post production and is scheduled to air
sometime the last week of Feb or first week of March. I will give you
specific air dates on the History Channel. It promises to be a great film.
I would like to thank all those who participated and supported our efforts to
get this important piece of work to the public.
Also I am currently co-producing another special on Special Operations in
Desert Sheild/Storm for the History Channel. I will be in Utah in the next
couple of weeks conducting interviews. Specific time TBD. I am looking for
any SF Vet's in the Salt Lake City area to interview who participated in the

I'll look for the showing info on this SF documentary.
I also heard, at our last SFA meeting, that the History Channel will be airing a documentary on the Mike Force in June. Maybe, Jim knows something about this! I'll post info when it becomes available.

Never can tell, but I doubt it.
I mailed a letter to an old friend who I believe was in the 77th at the time it was redesignated the 7th hoping that he will be able to help.
I can't believe the historian at JFK didn't have the info readily available. Looks like they could use some volunteers to help compile the historical facts and get them on computer. I would, if I lived nearby.

Do you think they will include Mike Force or MGF, Im Sure they will do plenty on indig forces but it would be gread to see something on the SF and Cambodians that fought together.

Steve's focus is on SF in the RVN so he may not have the info I'm looking for, but certainly worth asking.

If the enemies of our country see this show it could spell the dome of democracy, as we know it.
Jesus Christ. Don't they know this is not a game show, or joke. This is not a subject the people of America should be allowed to know about. Just because they pay their taxes doesn’t give them the right to spy on our most secret tactics and procedures. My God what are we going to do?
This show could compromise the fine work those men do all over the world. Like in Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Chad, Egypt, Israel, Italy, geez all over the world.
Who allowed this? Do they know what is at stake!
From this show the enemy could figure out what the capabilities of today’s SF units are. And how they came to be. They could realize how their vulnerabilities to SF penetrations of there back areas. The enemy could figure out how to defend against a SF UW Operation. They could compromise them through sophisticated RDF technologies that are available on the open market. The enemy could begin a file on SF and use this documentary as a starting block. From this show they could figure out the basic SOP of SF and that could through sand into the wheels of future GWOA mission support sites/safe houses. Caches could be compromised. Surveillance could begin on Ft. Bragg that would look for movement indicators. Informants could be found to explain what the show describes. They could come up with a recognition guide to hand out to its local militia’s and back area troops. They could raise hunting dogs from scratch on how to track Americans and what we smell like. They could set up a reward system for every American caught in their territories. It could get real ugly real fast over seas for our guys on FID missions. This is not good. People will die and the Discovery channel will make money. What a bunch of crap!
I urge all of you if you want this travesty to stop to call/write your local congressman and demand the stop of this show.
