Two questions, #1. I have read the formula that accounts for distance, wind, and angle, and I think I understand it although I end up with a number that I do'nt know what to do with. The qeustion is how do I applie this? #2 Can I applie this to another weapon? like a bbgun or 22? If so how?
Thank you.

Most all formulas create answers in MOA. With the exception of ranging formulas that create answers in yards or meters. Are you sure you understand the formulas? IF you did then you would know that the formulas will change regarding comeups and wind correction, as the bullet, rifle, velocity, weather conditions, etc change. The formula for wind correction for a .308 won't even be close for a .22.
I would recomend reading Mike Lau's book "The Millitary and Police Sniper". It covers the "math" of shooting and basic shooting theory very well.

Also, a spelling check would be nice if you want to be understood by the rest of us dummies...:p

What I ment(sorry about the spelling) was that the formula in the USMC sniping manual looked sound and I did it in my head (big accomplishment for a retard like me). so that means moa clicks or what? about applieing it to a bbgun that is about all I can do for practice and I want to use the formula, only with different constants. thanks.
