Here's a dumb question.... It's related to US Army Special Forces, so I figured this would be the place to post. I've just been posted to 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group, formerly the Canadian Special Service Force. While clearing in to Brigade HQ, I saw an entire wall devoted to Army Special Forces, and alot of them (plaques, etc....) were ref/Menton Day. I know that the relationship from the old 1st Special Service Force from WWII carried over to the US Special Forces and our SSF and Airborne (before the disbandment). What is Menton Day, and what does it involve? Thanks for any answers.....

Menton Day, if I remember correctly, is marked as the day that the Canadian/US First Special Service Force was disbanded in Menton, France.
