Has anyone tried one or seen one in person?

I'm looking at getting one to attach to my basic LBE set-up and still be able to wear a Eagle 3-day pack on top of it.
That way when the pack is off I'll still have the camel back and won't have the extra straps.
Any input?

Black Hawk Industries makes somethink kind of like that where, with their web gear. It allows you to attach your hydro pack right to your LBE without having to deal with the straps of the hydro pack. I have never used the H.U.M.P but it looks like it would be a useful addition to any LBE.

I just got the HUMP last week and tried it out this weekend.

I just took it on a little hike through the woods no training or anything like that. I attached it to FMCO Vest which is pretty much like the enhanced LBV.

I liked it, I have the 100oz camelback and this was a great way to carry it without having to worry about 2 or 3 sets of straps between the camelback, LBV and pack.

I wore my patrol pack over top and just had to adjust the straps a little to fit over the camelback.

Over all If you're out in the field alot I would say the HUMP is a pretty good investment.

I haven't been disappointed with anything I've orderd from SOTech yet.

I'm a police officer & SWAT team member. I wear the blackhawk LBE with the Camelback pocket. It also has the BTS straps for attaching equipment like a radio. It is the most comfortable piece of equipment I've had in ages. If you want the LBE harness with the camelback capability I would recomend that.

I dont know about this piece of gear, but I would be hard pressed to order anything from spec ops brand again. I made an order over their website THREE MONTHS AGO, they charged my credit card and I have yet to see my stuff. I could understand if it was a custom order, but all I sent for was their wallet and a checkbook cover. E-mails have promised "delivery within the week" on at least two occasions. I have seen their gear at gunshows, and it appears to be quality, but until they get thier shit in one sock, I would NOT order from them directly.

HUMP set-up. It replaced my canteens and they were moved up to my ruck.

Sire,
I like the pack but wish that it had webbing on the outside to attach item to. (like my canteens) I also have the board/frame and that helps a lot.

As of now I have put the canteens back on the belt and moved the camel back into the pack. Needed the canteens for NBC use.
