I'm beginning research on terrorist innovation for my honors thesis. The purpose being to trace the innovation of modern terrorist methods and means to attempt to predict future trends, especially WMD terrorism. Then after that, I need a job :D, but that's another topic....
I've run across various mentionings of a Palestinian group carrying out a mail bombing campaign during the 1970s. Few sources available in print and most of the hits on the internet about mail bombings refer to Ted Kazinsky. I'm starting with mail bombings, then hostage taking, hijacking and assasination as topics. Run into a big brick wall on this Palestinian mail bombing issue.
Anyone out there remember this? Have details? Can refer me somewhere? I'm trying to submit a request for help to the RAND folks but until that comes in...
