I know this is sort of late for me to be posting on this topic but I just wanted to say that you don't have to be such a dick, DCH. Maybe you should be nice to the kid. It's not his fault he's retarded.

As someone who has volunteered MANY years working with MANY retarded kids and adults alike, and KNOWS their mannerisms, and disposition towards their own physical and mental deficiencies, I have no worries that their capacity to understand us and our sense of humor is no more retarded than yours.

Give 'em a little more credit and a little less 'special treatment'.
