One, do you get to choose you MOS, or is it given to you based on the needs of SF?
Two, is anyone MUCH more difficult that another? Ex: Medical Sgt. over Weapons sgt.?
Finally, going along the lines of the first question, are you given the choice of your preferred group, or is it given to you with no choice on your part.
Thanks

Don't know if it is still true, but I'd be surprised if it has changed.
MOS generally depends on the MOS you enter from. Engineers become Engineers. Grunts become Weapons guys. Commo types get commo training. Medics go to Medical training. I'm sure it's not 100%, but it gives you the idea.
Regarding Group assignment, it used to be based on the needs of the Army, ethnic group and language skills. Do you speak a second language? If you're Asian, real good chance you'll go to 1st Group (just an example).

Well I've had about 3 years of Spanish in school (that's Middle school + highschool) so far. I'm in my second year of HS spanish, and plan on doing two more so I figure I'll be pretty fluent.
Thanks for the answers.

Can anyone tell me if someone who is 5 feet 5 inches and 135 pounds with mild scoliosis is eligible to join special forces?

Marsh,
Height and weight are essentially waived to attend SFAS. The first thing you’ll do when you show up for the SFQC is a height and weight, if you don’t meet the standard, you don’t start SFQC. If you're under weight, eat some food, do some PT...
Scoliosis up to a certain degree is acceptable. Check out AR 40-501 (Ch 5-3, and Ch 2-36).
