Is it harder to become a sniper during war time? Like is it less of a necessity and is there less time to go through all of the steps to work your way to the school.
thanks

Is it harder, only because OP tempo is increased thus harder to be released to attend a slot. Schools do not change unless there is a general mobilization and then the schools are more difficult because the same material is taught in less time (read days not hours).
No there is not a less of a necessity for the sniper but more of a necessity.
Requirements for a school remain the same only problem again is the OP tempo.
For those who may not know what OP tempo is I am talking about the rate of deployments and jobs needed done with the troops available in the time available with equipment available.
Dam that sounded something like METT-TC (army version), you Marines call it something else, METT-T?. Have a young E-5 Marine, working with us in a tracker course, from the sniper school at Quantico. Good troop. We are ruining him for the Marines so that he will transfer over to our unit. :D
