The reason I am submitting this thread under the PJ forum is because obviously this thread sees alot of action from various readers.
The USCG Rescue Swimmers are not a SpecialOps
community member, but in "retro-spect" they are an elite bunch of individuals. To do what they do, one must be "hardcore" material. They frequently train with the Air Force PJ's, (who are by far the best trained ass-savers around)and are always the ones to respond first when the "shit hits the fan" on the coast lines. They along with the PJ's give NASA rescue support. They are professional frogmen with a big responsibility.
The reason for this thread is to (if nothing else) let them be recognized for there actions. I personally hope that the individuals that started "Special Operations.com" will perhaps start a forum just for the AST's (Aviation Survival Technicians). What do all of you SpecialOps readers think? A worthy cause or not?
