Well since the DOAV and ISSAKs are not packs, neither. The DOAV and ISSAKs both serve a purpose, but you have to decide how they will be used in your loadout. The DOAV is pack friendly, the ISSAKs is not (the pouches are right on your hips and make carring a pack more difficult).

I have both and both work fine for what they are intended to do. What are you trying to do? Thats the place to start and decide which direction to go.

Well I was thinkng of getting one to use for airsoft, which means Ill be running or walking or standing for atleast 5 hours, and I tend to crawl alot.

I would go with the ISSAKs. It has plenty of room to last you for the whole day with no problem. I will take a guerss and reason that you are not going to be wearing a pack (you really would not need one for daily excursions). You will dig the unit. I have a couple, and if you decide to go that route let me know, I have really good prices for you.
