View Full Version : Rucking
Many times when I am a few miles into a ruck march, my right forearm starts going numb. I just deal with it up for the rest of the march. I know it is from the pack cutting off circulation, but is there any way to deal with it or just to gut it out?

how tight do you have the shoulder straps???? you want most of the weight on your hips and use your shoulders to help stabilize the pack-not carry the burden of it

I suggest buying chest straps they pull the straps of you.
work well.
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I have those shoulder straps pretty tight. I'll try loosening them up.

Try putting the weight in your ruck in a different configuration (that helps sometimes). If all of the weight is at the bottom of your ruck it will pull much more on the trapezius muscles(top of the shoulder).
