Okay, this may sound alittle strange, but please bear with me on this.

I am hopeing that any of the guys here who have had some serious damage to your joints, and who have been able to recover, can help me out with a bit of a problem.

I remember a thread awhile ago about taking some sort of supplements (shark cartilage and such) for fixing problems in the knee joints and whatnot. I would please like to know what are all the good supplements to take and how long do you need to take them for to expect to see results.

Anybody who responds will be doing me a great favor and I deeply appreciate any advice given. My wife went through a bad child birth and her systhisis pubis was torn to crap, and the cartilege there was streched from 5 milimeters to 2 centimeters, and as we all know, cartilege is NOT elastic. This has seriously screwed her up, she can't really even walk. All the doctors are screwed in the head and don't know what to do about it.

I know that its a bit off topic, but I the only place I have seen anything regarding this is on this forum and if any of you fine people out there have any good ideas on how to rebuild cartilage, please let me know.

Thanks,

Chris

Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Knox geletin, MSM, SAMe. Takes about 2 months to see an effect. Also look into ART, Active Release Technique some info can be found at www.t-mag.com (http://www.t-mag.com) using the search feature. I DON'T know if this will work in your situation, so do your own research. I am not a doctor and don't play one in the Army.

Thanks a bunch guys.

I appreciate your input very much.

I find it ironic that I get more information off a list for specops types than I do from the local goddamn which-doctors. The best one of them can say is..."This happens all the time in africa." Is this africa?

Anyhoo, thanks for the list of goodies Polypro, thats what I was looking for. Also the web sites that you two guys gave will be visited immediatly.

Thanks again.

i can vouch for art. i have been to 2 sessions w/the founder & well.. the results are incredible.. but my problem is w/soft tissue like tendons & scar tissure formation... the focus of art. i take glucosimine & chondrotin for any cartilidge damage i have.. & even if i dont i feel they are excellent "preventitive" supplements.
