How about going and checking it out yourself? You keep posting over and over about color vision. Go down to the recruiting office and find out. (I know...I dont like the recruiters either, but they should know, or be able to find out. If you dont like what they say, go find another one.)
Sorry if this sounded rude, dont take it the wrong way.

Wrestler-
All SOCOM schools use the same physicals, the school itself (Ranger, Q course, MFF etc) determine how extensive the physical is...
FALANT and/or PIP is used; if flunked then vivid Red/Green plates (cards) are used. Red/Green colorblindness is disqualifing for SOCOM schools.
The Army command for training (TRADOC)has lower standards; JFKSWC sets higher ones.
If u flunk FALANT/PIP but pass plates, u can get a waiver for ABN/Ranger/Q/MFF.
If u see a recruiter, make him show u the reg he is quoting. Few of them are up on med standards for other than inital entry. When u go to MEPS for physical processing, u can decline to enlist if u flunk the physical.

Grant,
tried it already, my recruiter had no idea and when i called meps, they said they were too busy to answer any questions, i know im not red/green color blind, i can distinguish between the 2. so i can probably pass the falant test and get a waiver right.

Bulldogwrester,
Sorry for jumping on you like that. I was unaware that you have already contacted them. I would believe that as long as you are not red/green colorblind, you should be OK. Good luck to you.
