I just wanted to say that while I don't post here very often I am respectful of most of the topics that are here. I just finished reading BHD for the 4th or 5th time and have experienced the usual rush of emotions. Sadness, anger, guilt(self-directed) pride. I decided that you guys that were in MOG or BTDT's deserve to see or hear that someone ANYONE is proud of you and what you have done or currently do.
The guilt is simply because I know exactly where I was 3Oct93.. and it wasn't being shot at. Thank you. Thank you for taking the risks and the bullets and most of all the job that America seems unwilling to applaud. Recently I have been exposed to various members of the Army and some in particular have made me see some things that normal everyday civilians might not.
Enough rambling for now.... Thank you again, and be safe.....
