Not exactly the answer you're looking for Gary ... but I searched my PERSCOM Charts, and I couldn't find it ... so I'm guessing its an outdated (deleted) MOS. In which case, Tracy or E19 might be able to help you out with that.

If I am not mistaken, the 0XX series of MOS's are for Band personel..
the last 2 digits could be either a ASI or a grade. XXX10 would be a E1-4, 20 would be a SGT, 30 SSG, and so on..

02X is Band.
And I did some research, and 09B = Trainee/Unassigned and 09C = Trainee/Language, so I'd say the whole 09X block is Trainee, although PERSCOM doesn't list a 09S.
Couldn't find a related ASI either.

MARK92A:
Some 0X series MOS's are band-related, but not all.
00B Engineer Diver is one current example.
The entire 05-series of communications MOS Codes are an example of "obsolete" MOS's. In this particular case, they actually still exist, but under different MOS Codes with different titles. E.g.: 05B Radio Operator and 05C Radioteletype Operator were consolidated into 31C Single-Channel Communications Specialist almost 17 years ago; I was there when that particular change was made (originally 05B1PA4, now 31C2PA4)
