Hey, guys, just a question for current Rangers (or anyone who can find out, I suppose). I have read somewhere else on this board (in the Canadian board) that Canadians who do not have total American citizenship cannot OFFICIALLY be assigned to the 75th b/c the 75th is a member of SOCOM, and therefore any non-citizens are considered a security risk... or something to that effect. (Not that Canadians have that great of a spy apparatus to pass info to... I mean, come on, CSIS??) Can anyone get the real deal on this? And please let me know if I am talking out of my ass, since I am a NBTNDT.... Again, any (intelligent/helpful) replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

It's something to that effect. You can go to RIP, but once you pass, you will be a hold-over there until you become a citizen and get your security clearance. At least that's the way it happened to one dude in my RIP class.
