Dozens injured as suicide bomber blows up near Jerusalem bus

A suicide bomber blew himself near a bus in central
Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon, wounding at
least 30 people.


The Egged 14 bus, was situated
near the "Klal" building on
Jaffa Street, close to the
intersection with King George
Street.

Magen David Adom rescue forces
were evacuating the wounded to
area hospitals.

Palestinian militants had threatened revenge
attacks after a failed Israeli assassination
attempt on Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi on
Tuesday.

Suicide bomber blows up in bus on Jaffa Street; 93 injured

Police said that at least 16 people were killed and
some 93 were wounded, some seriously, when a
suicide bomber blew himself up on a bus in central
Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon.
