He sure is. I'm looking forward to seeing him win the Grand Prix.. well, either him or Liddell. The opening round in August is going to be a hell of a show.

STA-Rat,
Why is it you post a link to a site with the hampster song so prominent? Acceptance is the first step to cure, buddy.

Liddel is going to own that Grand Prix and beat Silva like a stiff penis. ;)

I think so too. Liddell has heavy hands and Silva has a less-than-stellar chin, he gets dropped frequently and Liddell will capitalize.

Liddell and Rampage, now.. that's a whole different story.

Matsui ever win any fights? What the fuck is up with that dude.Who is the Blond Japanese dude that Frye is going toe to toe with like a hockey fight and who won?.Frye is what we call in the pit dog world a game bred dog,may not win them all but you know youve been in a fight and just dont quit!I think if he had a broken leg he would still scratch across the ring(dog fighting lingo)!

Matsui did recently beat Rory Singer, due to Singer's having some points deducted. Overall his record is atrocious. I think Sakuraba is the only fighter out of Takada dojo that has a winning record. That's the weird thing about Pride, they don't really care how good you are so much as how popular you are.

I think the guy you see Frye fighting is Yoshi Takayama.

Sherdog's Fightfinder has an excellent database for looking up fighter's records, just type in their name. http://www.sherdog.com

It seems as though most Japanese fighters in Pride are jokes. Hamanaka was impressive at Pride 26, Sakuraba is good but I think his time is just about over. Daiju Takasa was also impressive at Pride 26, that was a sweet triangle on Silva.

Most good Japanese fighters are in Shooto. Takanori Gomi is the man.

If Liddell's striking skills against Randy are indicative of his future performances, I'd be surprised if he made it down the runway without losing. I'm just wondering if we are gonna see a Gracie as the 8th man.
