For some reason I don't think your gonna get alot of replies to this question...Its called OPSEC...

Nissan, is it really opsec? since when are the identities of SEALs classified(excluding maybe DEVGRU). Does that mean they don't wear their last name over right breast, I guess they cannot wear t-shirts around with and seal insignia, and they must tell their spouses they are traveling encyclpedia salesmen?

I think that the real reason you're not gonna get anyone stepping forward as a "real operator" is because they will then have to go through the PROVE IT! Test. Oh, and OPSEC applies mainly to those units that nobody mentions! (some of you know what I mean).

I am just trying to figure out who is bullshit and who is a reliable source.

I just don't like reading and believing things spouted out by people like the MASTERCHEF.

I will restate the question: Who on this board has been a student at BUD/S? Or at EOD school?

Or for that matter, who is even in the military and what do you do?

maybe those people that this question concerns can answer that.

I myself hope to go to BUD/S when i get my commission in 2002. I am mostly interested in looking for workout tips and help with getting to BUD/S right now. I was prior enlisted for 4.5 years as a rescue swimmer before entering ROTC. How about you guy's?

I think Fred and Trident 86 are the only guys I know of on here who have pretty much proven themselves to be real deal guys.

I'm the real deal too!

I've been working in the Equal Opportunity Department (EOD) for some time now.

LOL@bmf

seriously though guys, it may not be OPSEC but how about PERSEC ( Personal, or is it Personnel, Security ). just read between the lines and if they want to tell you they will, could always politely ask them privately if they list an email addy.
Just some thoughts,
Mac

I also am an EOD tech. I was active Army and now work as an UXO tech in the civilian world. Usually I try not to post here (since I'm not Navy), but you asked for any graduates of EOD school.

sax,
How 'bout stating your case, dropping an email address and be patient. You'll get a response....right Niss?

If you want to use the shotgun approach to getting a response to a fake SEAL verification, send an email to IsHeReal@udtseal.com State the name of the suspected fake and anything else you have on them. One of the crew will get back to you quickly. If you don't get an autoresponse after you send the note, your return email address is bad. This is not bullshit.

Naw it's not everyone is bullshit, a lot of us regulars got a "different" sense of humor thats all. Just check the posts there's a hell of a lot of real operators on here with a wealth of knowledge. And there all great guys who will help you.

To state for the record before anyone jumps to conclusions, I'm NOT an operator. I attended BUD/S but was unable to complete it.
