That is so cool!

Saw the other one, and the STA guy too.

Are there patents on the digital camo or something? I'm not seeing mass reproduction of it in civvy land, is this why?

The detail on that thing is amazing. check out the 550 cord on the knife handle and the dummy cord on the pistol. Unreal detail.

If one of you guys doesn't take one of these for your avatar I'll be very disappointed. For Godsake the guy even has his trigger finger extended along the mag well.

In 1988, in Subic Bay, one of the guys in our platoon, McQuire, didn't dummy cord his .45 like he was told to. When we were taking zodiacs over to an Oil tanker to practice ship take downs, he was coaxain of a zodiac, his .45 fell out of his holster (which was desigined for .45's with lights, but we didn't have any at the time so it was very loose in the holster). I saw it fall out but they didn't listen to me and we ended up wasting the entire training day searching the ship even though I told them it fell out before he climbed aboard. So now you know why Force Recon is so annal about dummy cording your .45.

It was (is?) being slated as the replacement for the HEEDS. The advantage being the long hose attachment and second stage.

Don't Marines have their own version of the CWU-27P?
Nice touch with the velcro leg straps on the BDU pant cuffs, never seen that mod before- except on CDF firefighters.:D

Ahhh, got it.

Thought MOPP trousers had different pockets than the BDU bellows type?

Thanks

The MOPP suits also have cargo pockets on the legs, although it's a velcro closure. The TFT figure is actually incorrect in that the woodland MOPP suits did not have pockets on the sleeves. I do like the duct tape on the PAC-4C, not a bad touch. Leon must be a pogue, the grunts all had PEQ-2As and woodland flak jackets instead of the tan desert variety. 2/8 was actually unique in that we drew the desert covers for the old flaks and modified them to go on the interceptor vests.

HA! Since I became a civilian I moved up to Glocks.

Well actually, I found it was so much more simple for me to not have to engage two different safeties. What with my guacamole inebriated state and all.....
