Can I get a check on Tom Mixon? He said he graduated in 1983, went to team 5, then to Red Cell. I would just like to verify this, thanks.
May I ask wht Red Cell is?
As I do not recall coming across this term before

Red Cell was the code name for another small outfit founded by SEAL Team Six founder Dick Marcinko. They're job was to pose as terrorists and attack US Naval installations in order to test the security of those installations. Their charter also stated that they could be used proactively and undertake real world missions against terrorists but it is believed that that was never put into practice. Red Cell was made up of SEALs, mainly former Team Six guys, and one Force Recon Marine (Steve Hartman). The unit got in some serious trouble in the late 80's because apparently they got a little to realistic and overzealous and roughed up some Navy personnel a little too much. Tapes of them doing so wound up on "60 Minutes".
Well when you are trained to kill it is kinda hard not to!!!

I beg to differ, just because one is trained to kill does not mean you can just go around beating up anyone you like. Discipline and being a professional is a key factor in making a good warrior.
No I am not a SEAL.

Even if youīre a trained killing machine you still make your own decisions, no excuse for going over the limit.
Diciplin and selfcontrol is important, if you donīt have that, I donīt wanīt you beside me.

I'm not a SEAL but I know Capt. Bisset is for real. I think he's with a reserve Team in Conn.

I'm supposed to talk to Bisset too.
Yes on CAPT Bissett and Merritt, but the name Munion does not appear.

I haven't been able to talk to set up a time yet. I hear he gives the test also. I've heard that if you impress him with your scores and and your interview that he's very connected and influential with the board that makes the decisions. My recruiter just recently discovered this about him and advised me to do everything over again with Bisset to see how it turns out. My recruiter has had zero luck getting guys in up until now. He's hoping this contact will improve things.

That's a good time for the swim. Faster than mine. I usually do really well until the run. I can't seem to bring it in any faster than 10:00. It would get me in as an enlisted guy but for officer it just doesn't cut it.
Good luck to you too man. I think we both need it.

No on Steve Blood
Not enough info on Harding
To those of you who think this is witch hunting - ever wonder why so many claim to be something they are not? When they stop lying, I'll stop verifying.
In the future - put these requests on the phony board in order to keep the topic boards on subject, informative, and interesting.
