I searched this board and googled, and think I know the answer, but....

When people talk DLAB scores, do they use "Raw Score" or "Standard Score?" Which one should I be caring about?

I would think raw score is total number of questions correct, and standard score is the actual adjusted score - but it really doesn't make sense to me.

Am I way off?

standard. I was wondering the same thing when i got my results and then GackMan set me straight. They take the raw score and plug it into some magic equation to get the other score which is used to determine what level languages you qual for. If they used th Raw score I dont think i would have even qualified for spanish

In that case - I think I smoked the fucker!

Sure didn't feel that way taking it, though!

Thanks for answering my question.

96 raw / 135 standard

Sure felt lower during the test, though.

I kept thinking, damn - can we rewind this so I can hear "a" again?
