I went to a college today, and talked to some recruiters from the Navy, Airforce, and, From West Point. And Let Me Tell You the People from West Point Are Arrogant as Hell and extremely annoying! He Bad Mouthed The Navel Academy Which I can understand, because there's always been that rivalry, but the only thing he could say was "besides who wants to were white shoes?" What An Arrogant Idiot!!

This really doesn't even warrant a reply, but...

First of all, I would have posted this in reply to such a sweeping statement about any organization/unit in the military

Don't form an opinion of ALL West Point folks based on meeting ONE cadet at an info booth. You might be surprised at the long list of noteworthy, and rather humble, Americans that YOU respect that attended that school. Not to mention the thousands of West Point Grads that have been wounded or given their lives for this country that you'll never even hear of (think D-day, Battaan, Anzio, Point du Hoc, Bastogne, Inchon, Tet, Hue, Desert Storm, etc- you get the point). Be smarter than that, and grow up. None of the Academies are looking for anyone that would post such an ignorant statement.

I agree. For example, on the ARNET board, TFRANGERMEMBER is a USMA graduate, I believe. And he is a great guy with lots of info for us young guys with aspirations of earning a place in the SPEC.OPS. community.
