Just looking over some info from Gentex and was wondering what everyone is using for HALO / HAHO helmets these days? I guess it's the standard grey helmet. Anyone have any experience with the new Para Master HALO helmet from Gentex?
Does has anyone here jumped with the MICH and Paraclete HALO skull cap?
Thanks!

Can't answer your question, but I'm wondering - ALSE? Aircrew Life Support Equipment?

Yep, Aircrew Life Support Equipment tech. I am currently looking for a new helmet for our FARRP teams and don't want to go with the standard cranial (Navy deck helmet) and was wondering if anyone had seen the new Para Master HALO from Gentex.
Anyone...? ;)

Ah, I'm an Air Force ALS tech, usta be a Scout Sniper in the Corps. Unfortunately, I'm stuck working AWACS for the time being, so I still can't help on the helmet issue.

No problem, it's always good to chat with a fellow ALS chap. We are in the middle of a transition to Longbow and it's a whole new world with AirWarrior and all. Pretty interesting stuff...

Why not give them the old SPH-4's? There are still a ton out there, they are still usable, just not for flight.

ACE,
I had thought of SHP's but our BCO want's something with a "talk through" capablilty akin to the Peltor Comtac to cut down on radio usage but that can be used with the ICS during R&R. So, short of the MICH / ACH with a Comtac, I was at a loss untill I saw the Para Master handout at a local PJ squadron. They haven't recieved there's yet and I was just wanting to see if anyone here had.
