I somehow got volunteered to make up a template for checkpoint signs for Afghanistan, but I only know arabic. If anybody has can point me to a military phrasebook or any pictures of checkpoint signs youve seen in Afghanistan, please let me know. Its got to be done yesterday.

Urdu is pointless. No one in Afghanistan (except ISI agents) speaks it.

Of course, whatever they speak is not nearly as relevant as the low literacy level. Try pictures.

thanks for the help, I completely forgot about DLI Lingnet. I ended up telling them I would just hook up with one of the native translators when we get over there and do it.
