For BUD/S prep-training, should I use ruck marches in my training program or stick to running and ruck runs? Thanks in advance for any information.

Mac if you have a ruck use it for marches too...you'll do some of those in 3rd phase..do ruck runs but also put some more weight in and do some long walks through the woods...hell I used to put my ex g/friend into my ruck and walk around (she was 110 lbs) to get some exercise and have some company...but be careful on teh ruck runs they can damage your back REALLY bad if you don't do them right...but it is definetly a good idea to do both

I would stick to running and swimming. By the time you get to Land Warfare Phase, you'll be more than ready for any ruck marches you might do (if any). The trick is to make it to Third Phase without quitting or failing a number of runs or swims. Stick to the basics, and the rest will take care of itself.
