there is info on this site that says a CRW team when called to terrorist situation breaks down into scout/sniper teams but seeing as all 16 members of B squadron stormed the iranian embassy, who were the snipers? If B squadron were called to a siege and someone on, say A squadron, was excelling in the "killing house" could he be called to the siege?

1. 16 men is a troop (if it's up to strength), not a squadron. Four troops make a sqn.
2. Doubt it. Remember all military operations are based on TEAMWORK.

If I recall McNab's book Immediate Action, he states all CRW members start as snipers progress to sniper leaders, then to the assault teams. If true, I think that's a excellent progession route for training CRW teams.
