Oh Man.... I frekkin HATE Remoras.

I don't know how many times I've had them come up and try and plant themselves under myfins while I'm on a Hang Bar or doing a safety stop.

The times that really piss me off, when this things come around, is when I'm doing a night dive. Hanging on the line and you're trying to beat them away, you're mind starts racing....were's the SHARK that goes with frekkin fish?

Yeah! My thoughts too... and I could see! The visability here was 100 ft. or more.

Once in poor visability on a night dive, my light caught a large eye (It looked dinner plate size) for a quick second in the gloom....made my a-hole real tight. (There were known Bull Sharks in the area.) :eek:

I would do it if I was in a cage and he was in the outside looking in! This guy looks really HUNGERY! I have no desire to be fish food! :eek:

I'd inspect the cage VERY carefully too! I have no desire to swim with GWs, like I have with Bulls, 6 Gills, Hammerheads, Nurse and various reef sharks. ;)

Well, everyone knows the one thing you MUST NEVER DO to a remora is to "...keep beating him off..."!! No wonder he wouldn't leave - I wouldn't either!

Ok! I guess I asked for that! :D

As a side note, after I returned to the dive boat a couple of the females on the dive got on and said that the same remora had been nibbling on their ears. ;)
