Can anyone recommend a good group in that region of Indiana? I've searched on Google but only found scattered information here and there about a supposed JKD school and a possible muay thai school, nothing else. I found one boxing gym as well and one instructor certified in kali, but I would like to explore all the options that are available in the area.

Well, after searching a bit harder, I found a guy named Jack McVicker. Could anyone who has any experience with him please comment?

I've seen him talked about on the UG a few times. Looking at his credentials in BJJ competition, I think it's safe to say he's the real deal.
