GM School

[Boat boy 16]

During GM school, what weapons (small arms) what types of weapons will I be working with in the last two weeks? And during the course, will I be learning to fire 5 inchers or other types of Deck Guns? BTW, what other types are there?

During the small arms portion of A school you learn to care for the M-9 berreta, M-16, M-14, mossberg 500, M-79, M-203, Mk-19, M-60, the M2 .50 cal, and depending on your instructor you might work with the 25mm gun and night vision equipment. As far as any 5 inch guns or missile launchers, you need to go to a C school to learn those. Even after learning the small arms in A school, when you get to your command you will have to qualify on the various weapons and possibly go to schools for each of them, there are schools for the 25mm the M2 and the Mk-19. Im sure there are schools for other weapons too.
