Need SWCC help ASAP!

I'm heading to MEPS tomorrow! I met with ENCM Marley at SBU-20 in Aug who gave me some POCs at Great Lakes along with some other SWCC reps. I need real-time info ASAP. Can I get SWCC in my contract, and is HM an authorized rating in SBUs? Keep in mind, I am prior service (army) so I will not be going to Boot Camp. I've been through the crap at MEPS before so I know the deal.

I've called SWCC Motivators and Detailers to no avail. QMC Brisco was my primary POC but he's gone too, I guess.

Does anyone know this for sure?

you can get SWCC school thats it and no gaurentees.....and yes on the HM...

Yes, HM's are able to go to SWCC. Have you tryed to contact any other CMC's of the Boat Units.
It does not surprise me that the worh is not getting out about SWCC. Thats the problem that we are having, the word not getting out.

SBU 20 CMC called me yesterday actually. He called the SWCC Motivator himself up at Great Lakes but also couldn't reach him. ENCM Markley said that while SWCC can be gauranteed, and HM is now a source rating, its not completely published yet and chances are I'll have a difficult time convincing the REMFs at MEPS. He, like Trident 86, recommended signing up for SEAL Challenge and the make the switch at Great Lakes.

My MEPS appointment on Friday actually got postponed in order to release my army files to the navy. I won't be heading up to MEPS until next week now.
