This section has stagnated a bit, so I thought I would throw a question out to the current boat guys and see if they have their ears up to the rumor mill.
The word on the east is that the fully closed loop deal happens in a month or two, and I and some others are speculating that the new SDAP will also come on line then.Any thoughts?
Guys out at the school house, have you heard any whispers?
Guess thats all I got...See ya in the sand box.

How long have we been hearing that "Boat Guys" will get SDAP. Yes, I did hear that rumor that we will be getting SDAP. However, what I heard that it was going to be based on "critical" skills. I think its a bunch of BS. A "Boat Guy" is a "Boat Guy" regardless of what position you hold in a team or a detachment. If your a 5352 then give us the same SDAP as a 5326.. Just my $.02
While we are on the Money issue, what does everyone think of the new message that hit the street about SRB'S. $150K for 6 years... Only if your at the 19 year mark in your career. Thats nice for the senior guys that are looking to cutting away, it may keep them in. But what about that senior POIC that at his 14-15 year mark. Only thing he gets to re-ups is a hand shake and told to get back to work.

Personally, I do it for the 3M administration :D In all seriousness, BoatGuy26 is definately right but I have heard the same thing as what Sambone said.
