SIG 226 or 229

Any pro's to having a 226 over a 229?

Anyone have either in .357 Sig? I am considering a 226 in .357 Sig, however, the 229 does also appear appealing.

Any thougths?

Here's my thoughts. It all depends on what you are getting your Sig for. Are you looking for a duty weapon or a concealed carry weapon? Consider the 229 for concealed carry. For a duty or target/competition weapon, go with the 226.

The P226 in .357 Sig is about 3/4 inches longer than the P229 and a few ounces heavier. Both are available in double-action/single-action or double-action only configurations. Other than the size differences, operationally they are equally reliable.
