I've come across a couple references to the MH-53M and was wondering what's new in this varient. I've done some checking around and no one I know of seems to be in the know.

The M model is a generation ahead of the J in many areas. It added a center color monitor to the cockpit that displays map, imamgry and data frames. It has other uses that make navigation in the M much more precise than even the J. The M also has an improved defensive system through the use of programs that integrate more of the systems. In general it greatly reduces workload, while at the same time increasing situational awareness. Hope that helps without being too specific.

Yeah that helps http://www.specialoperations.com/ubboard/smile.gif For me as a modeler avionics differences are much "better" as there's less work to do to correct it http://www.specialoperations.com/ubboard/smile.gif
New senssors/antennaes are a pain but if the only major difference is avionics integration and display then no worries http://www.specialoperations.com/ubboard/smile.gif
