Seems odd that they continuously "warn" us that they are planning these attacks... I guess it depends on how you look at it.... Maybe it's a "boy that cried wolf" strategy..

I don't think is the wolf scenario. I think they are constantly planning. Due to the combined efforts of the agencies CONUS and the folks in uniform OCONUS their infrastructure is constanty shaekn about.

We only hear of a small percentage of what's going on.

From my experience with Islamic Terrorism, if they say an attack will come, it is in the pipeline.

Ex, normally a truce is in the form of a Hudna which is a temporary cessation of hostilities. Temporary and usually indicates or precedes regrouping and re-organization.

I will be corrected by Arabic speakers if I am wrong, but I thought hudna is truce in Arabic. To Mohammad's credit, he did keep his hudna with Quraish; unfortunately for Quraish, they signed a treaty that was not good for them. He outsmarted them. While I believe US is right to decline the truce at this point in time, the motive should not be "no treaty with Muslims, ever, because Islam allows violation of a promise given to an infidel".

Honest Reporting and Daniel Pipes are not very good sources of information, IMHO.
