View Full Version : Any Suggestions?
Back before the old Wepsnet site came down JY and I were toying around with the idea of doing a new article. This one was slated to be on suppressed weapons (how suppressors work, different models, subsonic loads, etc).
Anyone have any objections or better suggestions?

TR,
A suppressed weapons sight would be fantastic. I'm in. Should someone send an email to Tom???
I have talked to him a couple of times email, when i send him some photos that are used in the sniper weapons section. Take care.

Your and JY's article on the M4 was excellent
doing an article on suppressors would be a
good idea.maybe You and JY can also do an
article on the M24 sniper weapons system.
In other words do not stop.the article on the
M4 was better than someone would find in books other than having the manual for the
M4 and accessories.
Hi Ron;
T.R. and I appreciate your kind words, if Tom is in favor of it we'll see what we can get togather on the suppressed weapons and M24 SWS, it may take us some time, a lot of my goodies are still in boxes from a move, but we are already collecting and editing info for the suppressed weapons article.
I do a lot of the photography right on the scanner, the ones with the funny green background in the M4 are some (old OD T shirt),(if it fits, so an article on the HMMWV is out 8) )
Again thank you for the kind words and if our host is in favor we'll shift to higher gear. take care...Jim
Certainly at this stage it's a matter of culling through my boxes to see how many magazines and books I have which deal with suppressed weapons. Tripp graciously provided an article which will answer the mathematical aspects of design and function so it's coming together SLOWLY as usual...

And if I can get off my butt and get some baffles photographed and scanned I will provide those to you as well.
Glad to hear you like the article. I used a few things I learned from it to design a can for a MG-34 that is stil working. At least the end cap is stil there. :-)
Going to meter it pretty soon to see what the actual results are. Will post whem I do.

It is appreciated Tripp...
