Has anyone seen any more info on the M4 SOPMOD online?

Is it SOPMOD or SOF MOD? I don't know whether, its on line anywhere. John Larson, a writer for Knife magazine, and a retired SF SGM was in getting the skinny on that in the arms room at Ft Lewis over a year ago, you may be able to contact him if you need more information.

Military sites containg specific info are still down. Don't know if Crane will put it up again but they are the best source on the SOPMOD M4(Special Operations peculiar Modification M4). Then again you have the best on the weapon 8) Have one sitting here with most of the system accessories can always scan photo what you need. may have a manual somewhere in my messy den will check, lost some goodies in move, still looking for the original manual I have on the first ART and XM21.

i don't like the shortened m203 for the m4 SOPMOD

D-man.... Can you elaborate? I have both barrels here and can honestly tell no difference in performace. Albiet I am not firing HE rounds but I do shoot the practice grenades which have the same ballistic properties.
