Does anyone know where i could get good info on USAS-12 (pics, technical data).
Good technical data eh?
Here's SOME info on it:
USAS-12 Shotgun
Caliber: 12 Gauge (2.75 inches)
Magazine: 7 & 10 round box magazines & 20 round drum
Operating Principle: Gas Operation
Modes Of Fire: Semi-automatic, full automatic
Cyclic Rate: 360 rounds per minute
Barrel Length: 18.10 inches
Weight: 12.0 pounds
Overall Length: 38.60 inches
Introduced In: 1986
If you find the shotgun forum section of wepsnet you'll find a request by me for good pics. D.E. Waters provides two, though the BATF one is the best if you have a program to clean up pics.
Hope this helps

FULL AUTO SHOTGUN!?!?!?!??!?!?!? WTF! i wanna see this shit!
D-Man,
USAS-12 is a law enforcement/military styled weapon which ironically only been seen in one major movie (that I am aware of). Sometimes one can be seen on the Showtime program, Stargate: SG-1.

We have two of these in stock. One is a semi-auto only gun for civilian sale which is now a NFA weapon under the DD clause.
The other is a transferable machinegun on a form four.

They made semi-auto versions? Interesting, I had heard the company (Daewoo) had contemplated doing so but was unsure of the market for it.
Thanks

Gilbert Equipment Company Inc. assembled the semi-auto USAS12 with imported parts kits from Daewoo and US-made receivers and barrels.

I hope your friend has thought about the availability of spare parts. I have a Daewoo DR200 and the thing is damn reliable but if spare parts are ever needed I'm SOL. It's partly because of the "assault weapons" ban, partly Daewoo. If the USAS12 is like my DR200 in terms of how it's built, it'll be built like a tank.
