M16A3/A4

So somebody tell me the difference between the M16A3 and M16A4. I recently read that the 10th Mountain is being issued M16A4s and from the stats they sound just like the Colt Model 905, which is listed as the M16A3.

The A3 and the A4 are both flat top versions of the fixed carry handle A2. The only difference between the two is that the A3 is safe-semi-burst and the A4 is safe-semi-full auto.

The bushmaster specs for the m16a4 are : flattop, RIS, full auto and a vortex flash-hider factory installed. They delivered some to the DOE in the mid-90ies.
