You have a LIFETIME of other training opportunities to get through before you even CONSIDER going to CDQC.
Graduate HS, Basic, OSUT, SOPC I, SOPC II, Airborne, PLDC, Phase I, Phase II, SERE, Phase III, Language School, BNCOC, GET to a team, get on the OML, QUALIFY to go to PRE-SCUBA...and complete any OTHER course stages I may have left out in the midst of the rest of them...
THEN start thinking about CDQC.

On the good news side, just had a couple 18Xs pass the CDQC during down time they had waiting for the next phase of the SFQC to start. 5 out of 6 made it.
Like SFPA said, stay focused on the primarty target, getting SF qualified. If you bolo that, you're not going to the CDQC.

Wow, CDQC during the pipeline, that's freaking awsome! I'm jealous. My state can barely get guys from the scuba team down there.
Shoot.."way back when" you had to serve your time on a ruck or mountain team and get on the OML for a specialty team...THEN once on the whisky team, you had to get on the OML for the high speed school.
Man times change.

Why don't you just work on graduating HS with a GPA. At the same time you can work toward maxing the APFT.
Oh here is a real good idea for a guy in HS....try to enjoy where you are at in life and chase a few girls.
There is plenty of time for you to be a HSLD, Barrel-Chested Freedom Fighter on the Vanguard of Liberty! Concentrate on the 25M target.
